Don Dixon waves to traffic during the Occupy Minnesota rally at the Hennepin County Government Center.  Dixon said he is frustrated by a growing disparity of wealth and losses of jobs and homes in America.

Last Friday about 300 people gathered in downtown Minneapolis to express their frustration with economic disparity and the role big money plays in our lives.

A little under a hundred spent the night.  And the next night.

Lucas

If there was a rule somewhere that you couldn't take more credits than your age, Lucas would be over the limit by two.  At 11 years old, he is already on track to get his doctorate by 18.

Storms Over Illinois


We had some pretty impressive storms last night over Illinois.  I saw some of the most impressive lightening I've ever seen between Beloit and Chicago.  Some parts of the state had winds over 60 mph.  It made for some exciting driving.
